LB1120 new firmware released this week
Hi all, was just notified that there is a new firmware update this week for my LB1120 4G LTE Modem and was wondering if anyone has upgraded yet? I am always leary to install any new firmware upgrade without getting feedback from others first as I live in a very remote area and this modem is my only connection to the internet. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Wondering the same thing, I lost service today and when I tried to login it showed that a firmware update was available which would be nice if I had connection to download it.
I am about to install the update. I will report back here with any changes.

I upgraded a few days ago after I got the notification (LB1121 i think, but essentially the same), and have had several issues although I can't say it's 100% due to the update. So far I've had it switch from LTE to 3G (and not back to 3G until rebooting), have had it lock on to a different tower with poor signal (even though i use external directional antennas), and this morning I had reset it again when none of my devices could connect to the internet. Pre-update, I rarely had any issues over several months. The 3G and bad tower lock have happened before but extremely rare, so maye there was some tower maintenance in progress. Bottom line is I see no benefit after the update, only possible issues, so I would avoid it. I don't see any release notes to know what it fixes. Hopefully I can revert back.
Thanks for the feedback. Any improvement to these issues since your initial posting? I have held off on the firmware upgrade to see if others have experienced similar complications (or better results).
Sorry for the delay, the update has been working great. I have had issues but have traced that back to carrier throttling.
When I bought my LB1120 it would only get 3G and ran slow. When the update came and I updated it got 4G and ran faster.
I upgraded today after being locked on 3G/UMTS for a couple weeks. I am back to 4G/LTE now for the last hour.
