LB2120 Internet Connection Issues - Eir Mobile
I recently purchased this 4G LTE Modem and inserted my Eir mobile sim card. It connects to the mobile network and on the home screen it tells me I am connected to the internet. I can see the signal s...
- I solved this myself by trial and error. Like this:
- I loaded a different SIM card into the modem and it worked just fine. That told me I had no issue with the modem and it’s connection to my AirPort Extreme.
- I downloaded the firm update using this second SIM.
- It was then clear that the internet (APN) settings with my first SIM weren’t set correctly.
- So I Googled APN settings for my Eir SIM and I found updated APN server details for my new Eir SIM.
- Using the NetGear Mobile app I then updated the APN settings on the modem and it all got sorted. 😁
