LB2120 IPv6

Hi

I have recently purchased the LB2120 device to work as temporary broadband during a house move.

I put in a UK EE SIM (as EE support IPv6). But in either Router or Bridge mode I see no IPv6 either on the device (router mode) or on the router (either mode).

I know there were some issues with this device in Bridge mode doing IPv6, has there been any updates to resolve this? Ultimately I'd like to run in bridged mode.

I have set the PDP for EE under APN to IPV4V6 but this has made no difference.

Anyone got this working at all, or am I wasting my time?

Thanks

  • There are lenghy threads on the EE community when it comes to IPv6 and router support. The most noteable limitation I see is that EE does only provide an IPv6  /64 prefix - sufficient for a single host only (like a mobile phone) - which can't be used to subnet anymore.

Mmm, I thought I could maybe NAT that on v6, messy but the only way if you get a /64...

Not really a home broadband replacement when you do something that daft!

      But still don't even get a /64 from the LB2120, I get no IPv6....

I guess my main question, has anyone got *ANY* IPv6 to work in bridged mode with the LB2120?

If so, has anyone got it working at all with IPv6 on EE UK?
