LB2120 not connecting to BT Fibre Modem

Hi

I have just bought an LB2120 to act as a failover device for my fibre broadband, which is currently cutting out, with no sign of resolution from BT.

I have a 4G card from three, and this connects fine when I turn on the LB2120.  I get 4 bars, and was able to download a firmware upgrade via the 4G connection.

When I connect it to the BT Openreach cable modem however, I get "Wireline Unavailable".  Whatever combination of router or bridge settings I use, I cannot get a wired connection to the internet.

Is there a special setting I need for the BT cable modem, or is my LB2120 faulty?

Thanks

Maybe you have tried the settings below. That is what I can think of now.

    1. Connect LB2120 WAN port to your BT cable modem LAN port

    2. Make sure LB2120 and BT cable modem are not set in the same subnet. The default IP gate for LB is 192.168.5.1. Please check your BT box use 192.168.xxx.1, which xxx is not 5.

    3. Enable LB failove feature and set BT modem as default connection.

    Thanks
