Considering almost any "signal" can be a random (Ethernet)-Modem, in the case of DSL or cable modem this can be PPPoE, PPPoA, PPTP, native IP, DHCP, ... how should this simple device test and monitor the active Internet connection, especially if a random device. Really wonder what the design intention, and the configuration requirements are. I'm not wondering, how a simple bridged modem should be monitored for handling the LTE fall-over.
Sure, I can understand how things could work if the LM1200 operates in router modem and he LM1200 Dashboard does show a valid IP for the WAN connection. But not without the LM1200 having an IP address to monitor.
Is this where the confusion about the "supported modems" and "WAN issues" are coming from?
