LM1200 have sim card not registering and does it create WIFI?

I have just bought an LM1200 and was under the impression that once a Sim card is entered, it will create its own wifi? is this correct

    It should already be broadcasting wifi. It just won't be connected to your ISP until you insert the sim and have your ISP (cellular) give you the APN settings

      LM1200 is not mobile router. So no WiFi is supported. You can get the data connection from the ethernet port. To support your WiFi clients, you can connect your own WiFi router on the LAN port of the LM1200.
