LM1200: Throughput

I am writing to ask about the NETGEAR 4G LTE Modem (LM1200) in WAN failover mode.  If the primary fixed-line broadband Internet connection provides 1Gbps service through a cable modem, what is the speed of that service when passed through the LM1200?

Thank you.

  • The failover speed that can be achieved on LM1200 with 1Gpbs backhaul is around 910Mbps for TCP and 930mbps for UDP based on our internal testing.

    Thanks

  • JohnPeng:  Can you please provide the specifications of the passthrough throughput of the LM1200?

Stated differently, when 1Gbps Internet service from a cable modem is passed through a LM1200 in bridge (failover) mode, will the performance remain unchanged at 1Gbps or will it be reduced – and, if so, by how much?

    Thank you.

JohnPeng: Thank you, John, for providing this information – much appreciated.

P.S.: I recommend that you consider adding the passthrough throughput specification to the Product Datasheet.
