I am writing to ask about the NETGEAR 4G LTE Modem (LM1200) in WAN failover mode. If the primary fixed-line broadband Internet connection provides 1Gbps service through a cable modem, what is the speed of that service when passed through the LM1200? Thank you.

The failover speed that can be achieved on LM1200 with 1Gpbs backhaul is around 910Mbps for TCP and 930mbps for UDP based on our internal testing. Thanks John

JohnPeng: Can you please provide the specifications of the passthrough throughput of the LM1200?

Stated differently, when 1Gbps Internet service from a cable modem is passed through a LM1200 in bridge (failover) mode, will the performance remain unchanged at 1Gbps or will it be reduced – and, if so, by how much?
