Looking for a router compatible with an AirCard 810S

The only viable internet connection available to my boss at home is wireless and he has an AirCard 810S.

He has a highend printer which includes direct scan to email from the printer, just like here at work, that only has an ethernet connection.

I am looking for a router that will allow me to connect the printer to it and use the AirCard as its wan connection.

He is past retirement age so it needs to be simple. My idea being that when at home, he just connects the aircard to the router which gives him a wireless connection to the printer and the printer access to the internet for emailing. When he travels, as he regularly does, he just unplugs the AirCard from the router and takes it with him, using it as normal.

What router would you suggest and any particular way of setting it up?

  • Found the netgear smart cradle which has an ethernet port in it. Looks like it will be just what I want.

    Hello Weyrman

    Welcome to the community!

I apologize but we do not have a router that fits your requirement.

All routers require a modem to be connected with an Ethernet cable for internet access.
