LTE Modem LB1120 Question

Hello. I see a Netgear 4G LTE broadband modem on amazon... I have a question about it. 

 

When connected to a router, does multiple people connected reduce the speed? 

 

I have a Global Telecom Netstick Usb Modem device, and I connect it to a router, but the router is practically useless because let one person dare connect to it and everything is slowed down to the point that I just want to rip it out of the usb port and break it. I have trouble playing games that dont even take a few mega bytes per hour, and watching youtube is only a dream.

    I used one for about 3 years linked to a cheap Netgear N300 router and had sometimes up to 10 devices connected. I live in a rural area with a weak 4G signal. While it worked for me, what really matters is your network signal and congestion on that tower. The hardware is certainly up to it.
