M1 (MR 1100) help

So let's get this down. I have t buy the device than I can go to any AT&T store and get a SIM card and then pay at&t for service every month?????

Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

 

NETGEAR has several different SKUs of the Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router products. 

 

If your service provider is AT&T then you need to purchase the MR1100-1A1NAS or MR1100-2A1NAS SKU. The device and service would be with AT&T.  

 

For retail version and if you are located in North America then you need to purchase the MR1100-100NAS SKU. You can get the retail version on Amazon and/or any of our Authorized reseller. You do need to check carriers to get better data plan. But you can use the retail version on T-Mobile and AT&T.
