M1 Upgrade ?
Today, I bought a Nighthawk dual band router WIFI 7, thinking it was an upgrade on my old Nighthawk M1 which acts as a modem and router. I have now unplugged the Nighthawk 7, as I found, that to make it work, I needed to plug it into the old MI, that I was trying to replace. I am older and wiser now. I think I was taken for a ride. I thought it was an upgrade on the old M1. It isn't. It's an add on at best.

The Netgear Nighthawk M1 is a 4G LTE Mobile Router.

Why ever, you had necro-posted on a half decade old thread in some Nighthawk WiFi 5 router section.
As of writing, I can't think about a simple Netgear WiFi 7 Dual Band router - needless to say, most of these don't have a 4G/5G mobile feature built-in.
You have just sold me your last product.
We have neither offered nor sold you anything: Most people here are average Netgear customers.
Whatever Netgear device model you have acquired - without more details it's extremely difficult to help.
