Carefully compare the Data Sheet | M4300 series, predominantly 10 Gb ports and the matching switch fabric bandwidth capacity; modular with 40 Gb ports, with the Data Sheet | M4250 Series, predominantly 1 Gb ports plus some 10 Gb uplink ports and the matching switch fabric bandwidth capacity, and several PoE+/PoE++ versions for all power requirements on copper ports of course .. there are all answers already.
Before you ask, compare the Data Sheet | M4350 Series which is covering models with predominantly 1 Gb ports, models with predominantly 10 Gb ports, and models with predominantly 25 Gb ports, always with the the matching switch fabric bandwidth capacity, and several PoE+/PoE++ versions for all power requirements on coper ports of course.
