M6 Nighthawk mobile hotspot locks up

I received an M6 nighthawk mobile hotspot for work. It connects to my ios, android and home desktop but when I connect to my company laptop it locks up the M6 and I have to disconnect from the networ...

Could you please advise how you connect your company laptop to the device, via USB, Ethernet or WiFi?

 

What company specific software are running on the laptop, such as VPN, etc?

    Thank you, I am using wifi and that is how I will use it in the field. I had an older 4glte and it worked fine with this laptop. Both the laptop and the hotspot work with all other devices just not with each other.

      Thanks for the information. 

       

      Could you please confirm you are using the default WiFi setting, which is 5Ghz only? Please try to change WiFi profile to set it to dualband and see whether that will make any differences?

       

      What is your laptop's brand and model?

        Thank you, I’ve tried all the different Wi-Fi configurations 5G,dual, 2.4 only.
        I’m using a dell lattitude 5520 with Windows 10
