M6 pro MR6550 5g not working in South Korea

To enable 5G connectivity, SKTelecom requires device registration. (5G-OMD)

    All three cellular carriers use N78 for their 5G services.

     

    SKTelecom

    LTE: B1, B3, B5, B7

    5G: N78

     

    Korea Telecom

    LTE: B1, B3, B8

    5G: N78

     

    LG U+

    LTE: B1, B5, B7

    5G: N78

     

    I want to use MR6550 in Korea, but I want to be sure 5G can be enabled before buy it.

      Yes. I can confirm that MR6550-100PAS supports n78. This band is used in Canada as well.

        MR6550 supports nearly all popular 5G bands in the world.

         

        What about EN-DC or carrier aggregation?

        Does it support any kind of carrier aggregation involving NR78 ?

        B1+3+5+7 + NR78

        B1+3+7 + NR78

         

        As far as I know, SKTelecom's 5G network works in non-standalone mode, so band aggregation should be supported to enable 5G data connectivity.
