Have you tried accessing the webGUI and see if the error appears? Might also help if you take a pic to the actual LCD display next you see this message and post here. that will help other be aware of this mysterious error message. I would also assume you have it on the latest FW?

I think attachments are moderated, and they appear to be not loading initially until it is cleared (just my assumption), but I do see it now too.
Did you try accessing the web admin page using a desktop browser? Usually if there is an error, it will pop-up in the desktop admin page. Check your SMS inbox and see if it's full. Usually when full, it will give some sort of warning. Can't remember exactly how it appears on the LCD UI, but just check and see if that causes the warning. delete all SMS and see if the icon goes away.

I always use the browser based admin as the device LED is way to small to display meaningful data for my poor old eyesight. No errors are listed except "Data usage unavailable" but unneeded so I ignore it. Other then that everything else is as I set it up and no errors reported.
Initially I was interested in the icon meaning and am now more surprised the Netgear don't list the icons on their support page or in any available manuals. I just think that is an oversight on their part.
Thanks for your input on this.
