MR1100 - Can it charge and operate from a 900ma power source?

I have an application where I do not have a 110 volt outlet so I must power the device from a USB which has 900ma available power.  Can the MR110 0  be powered from this USB source?

    The USB port will not provide enough or reliable power when the device transfers data in full power if the device is to far away from the cell tower.
