MR1100-100 no internet - but there is

Hi. I have a MR1100-100 Mobile Router.

It's been working fine, and fast, with 2 laptops and two android phones regularly attached.

For about the past 3 weeks, though, I have a problem.

My laptop (Lenovo Yoga Slim 7) running Windows 11 connects to the modem, but marks it as having "No internet access".

I am actually using this connection right now to enter this query.

It looks as though Chrome can use the access fine, as does Outlook, Zoom, Skype

But it staill marks as No internet access, and Whatsapp won't connect, stating No connection.

I've done a factory reset, no joy.

Help? Please? Anyone?

    Hi. I have a MR1100-100 Mobile Router.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems

Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.

You might like to search there for messages related to your issue.

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

I have now set up another MR1100.

The same issue is happening with this one.

What on earth is going on?

        Hi SadruddinW,

Please follow the steps below to check.

        1. Contact the carrier to get the correct APN information and add it using WebUI.

        2. If the correct APN has been correctly configured and the device still can't connect. Please make sure your SIM card can work in a phone

        Regards,
        Blanca
