MR1100-100NAS no B20, NO SCC Carrier aggregation
Hello, I am using the MR1100-100NAS device. Firmware: MR1100-100NAS_23113828_NTG9x50C_12.05.05.00_00_GenericNA_01.02 (newest).

Also adding second screenshot showing aggregation that just doesn't work.

What are the other bands/cells what you miss ?
- FCB90Apr 17, 2019StarThank You for your answers.
B1+B3+B7 should be aggregated and it's fully supported by BTS (checked with few other devices with the same SIM) - again, it's not problem with SIM, BTS or ISP.
None of aggregation is working, 2CA too.
NETGEAR'S Support, could You please tell me if aggregation on my device can be somehow blocked?
MR1100-100NAS should support also B20, it's officially confirmed by NETGEAR - I've checked and it's not so it seems to be an critical bug in modem's firmware.
Without aggregation the device is almost useless in normal conditions.- W1lliamApr 17, 2019Virtuoso
From the screen capture you provided, current firmware does not support B20, it might be limited by the firmware, need to wait for Netgear's official explanation if that was done in purpose or can be added in later firmware.

As for aggregation, when I was with Auto in "Band Region" option, it would not do aggregation all the time, depends on signal of what area I was staying. You might need to enable LTE Band lock function to force M1 to just land on the Bands you specified and then aggregation might be working.

from the datasheet, https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/mobile/MR1100_100NAS.pdf, it shows no B20 is supported, FYI.

Thank you for your response.
In fact, the document you sent informs that 100NAS has no support for B20.
However, when I bought this device I was guided by this official information, which seems to be more up to date - it's from the end of 2018 and it clearly states the support for B20:
https://kb.netgear.com/000060410/What-cellular-bands-are-supported-by-MR1100-Nighthawk-M1-Mobile-RouterIt is simply pathetic that the company can not clearly determine what it produces and one of the information is misleading!
Unfortunately, forcing band lock with AT! BAND command did not work - again, only one frequency works at once and I am sure the command is typing correctly, for example for B1+B3+B7 aggregation:
AT!BAND=03,"LTE B1+B3+B7",0,45
NETGEAR SUPPORT, You are last hope for this device and for my respect for NETGEAR company.
