MR1100-100NAS turns on but no communication via USB C, wireless, or RJ45 port
My M1 router suddenly stopped broadcasting wirelessly one day... I have tried the following with no success. The lcd acts like it is starting up normally and the power indicater blinds amber (because I removed the sim card). Niether my cell phone, main computer, TV, laptop, or my wifes Iphone detect any wireless ID broadcast from this device.
1. Reboot
2. Reboot and plugged in cat5 (RJ45) to my main computer: (will not connect... "cable unplugged")
3. Reboot and plugged in different cat5 (RJ45) to my main computer: (will not connect... "cable unplugged")
4. Factory reset. the device will not shutdown without removing the battery. It just stays in a constant state of "shutting down".
I let it sit all night in this state. I tried this serveral times.
5. connected to main computer via USB-C cable (male to male type) computer detects it as "NDIS compatible device" but states that the eithernet cable is unplugged or damaged.
6. connected to LAPTOP computer via USB-C cable (male to male type) computer detects it as "NDIS compatible device" but states that the eithernet cable is unplugged or damaged.
7. Tried all the above steps with and without the battery installed.
8. Installed different sim card.
I am out of ideas.
Called tech support but they claim that it is not a hardware issue , because the power indicator and lcd screen works, and I would need to purchase a phone support subscription to proceed.
Please and thank you for any advice.
