Mr1100 Firmware 12.06.39.0 can't access web interface

My MR1100 just updated to 12.06.39.0 firmware, and now the web interface just doesn't work in chrome. In edge it works, but not chrome. In chrome it connects and puts up the banners, but you can't login, or click on anythying.

Any thoughts on what's going on here?

  • Hi dononeil ,

I hit this and needed to perform a factory reset by hold down the reset button, in the battery compartment (under microSD card, if installed), with a pin while the device was connected to power by USB.

In my case, the issue was found in Edge and Android 10 Chrome. Chrome in Windows 10 S was not tried as unavailable (note the "S").

    Model: MR1100-100EUS

I recently observed a problem where the webgui only appeared with the top menu and was non-functional. I performed a factory reset and webgui functionality was restored.

    Firmware version: NTG9X50C_12.06.39.00

    Bootloader version: NTG9X50C_12.06.39.00

    GUI Version: MR1100-100EUS_04.01.85.00

    Firmware Build Date: 2021/05/10

The last two firmware updates I recall was manually putting on 12.06.08.00 to fix an issue with uncontrolled reboots when connected to wired power without the battery in, and a subsequent auto-update where I couldn't find online release notes.

Please clear the browser cache and see whether the issue will go away. Usually, that is the case.

    Thanks

  • I also lost the webui access whenever I updated to the latest firmware.  Was successful connecting with the Android "Mobile" app but in there no option to check for FW update.  Cannot access with any browser past the first line of click options.  Click and nothing happens.

Please do a factory reset and clear the browser cache to see whether the issue goes away.
