MR1100 Firmware Update

Hello

 

I've tried to download the new firmware as provided from Netgears Support page for the MR1100 router.

My current firmware version is 12.04.02.00 and according to the Netgear website, version 12.05.05.00 is now available.

After downloading the file and installing it via the updater within the router it tells me this update is not for my device?

 

Any ideas why it wont update?

    Where ever you have seen that, whatever firmware you have downloaded, whatever MR1100 you have - zero information.

     

    Check your MR1100 exact product designation on the label (inside, under the battery)...there exist many different variants customized for various providers:
