MR1100 flashing blue LED

I have been trying to find out what the different series of flashes from the blue LED on my  MR1100 wifi router. The manual only address slow flashes (ready) and continuous fast flashes (data transferring) but I've been noticing different series of flashes such a a single flash followed by two quick flashes or three quick flashes and a pause then three more flashes. 
can anyone point me to documentation that explains what the different flashes mean?
