mr1100 incorrect wifi mobile router in netgear ios app

I get incorrect mobile router in the netgear ios mobile app.

If I factory reset the device it works fine but as soon as i change the ip address of the nighthawk to something other than 192.168.0.1, lets say 192.168.100.1, the app will no longer connect. I can access the device fine through a browser.

This appears to be an ongoing issue that only seems to be solved by resetting the mr1100 back to factory defaults and the factory ip address of 192.168.0.1.

Please Advise.

  • I’m sorry but the default ip is 192.168.1.1. if you change the ip of the mr1100 the app will not connect but if you change it back it will connect.
