MR1100 Killed by power outage - ATT device

We have two MR1100 Nighthawk Hotspots we use for our whole house wifi. Each has its own ATT cell number. We had a lightning storm this morning and a very short (maybe 30 seconds) power outage. Neither Hotspot works now. We have tried rebooting, pushing the reset button and nothing helps. Any suggestions? These were purchased as renewed from Amazon two years ago.

    Lightening is great at wrecking electronics. 

    One thing to try is to remove the battery and try a different power supply and cable for it. 

    I've see lightening fry power supplies before and hopefully that's the issue as they're much cheaper.
