MR1100 lost cell connection

Just lost connection to my carrier (ATT) and can not get it back. ATT says its connected at 6MB download speed but the app says I am not connected to ATT. Multiple reboots, power off for 10-15 min then turned on, removed battery and reinstalled  Nothing appears to help   Suggestions please
