...still some problems... 🙄
1) modem doesn't blink amber, and trying to start then shutdown itself.
Or by long (10') pushing ON button, fast blinking blue/amber then fix amber and <downloading software update> on display. Then nothing...
2) on apple network preferences, we never had LAN adapter saying "connected" even tcp/ip > IPv4 set properly... (192.168.1.10 / 255.255.255.0 / 192.168.1.1)
3) I never had this extracting like said :
- Extract the ZIP file to your desktop.
The firmware file format is either .img or .chk.
Just have .spk
4) finally TFTP on Terminal says that:
[tftp> binary [tftp> putMR1100-100EUS_23113509_NTG9Ă—50C_12.06.11.00_00_Generic_10.03.sec.spk

Ottocinque Keep in mind the KB entries mentioning "The firmware file format is either .img or .chk." do -not- refer to the Cell Service Mobile Hotspot Modems, AirCards, & Mobile Routers models - read the list of models under the "This article applies to:".

This is the way to download the firmware from the cloud, while connected to the mobile network, or while connected to a LAN with DHCP and Internet access - and does not apply to a tftp load.

Almost certainly, it's not in a status to upload the firmware by tftp again.
No idea on how to force the MR1100 (from a partial running level) to tftp mode (the same loader IP like the other Netgear models is just a wild guess). JohnPeng please.
