MR1100 Nighthawk power supply requirements
Hi,
I have a MR1100 Nighthawk hotspot that I want to use in my truck. Because of the summer heat and the hotspots battery been lithium ion. I’m getting an external LiFePO4 power bank. The LiFePO4 has the power options of 5V/9V/12V 3A.
Keeping in mind that I have no idea how electrical values work. Do you guys know what setting I can set to. So the hotspot stays on but also conserves energy?
I’m only using the hotspot for the dash cam to stay connected when the car is unattended and off.
Hardwiring the hotspot is not an option because the dash cam already is. And the trucks battery won’t be enough to keep both going for any extended period of time.
Thanks.
