MR1100: Not off to a good start!

Big fan of Netgear switches and routers so I bought a MR1100-100NAS for a new project. So far not impressed so posting for some help please. I have FW 12.06.39.00.

-Looks like people were asking for Remote Management back in 2019 but not much since then. According to this page https://kb.netgear.com/000064423/Which-mobile-routers-are-compatible-with-NETGEAR-Insight, my model, with a "5K1" serial number is compatible but when I try to register on Insight, it says it's not.

-When I'm in the WiFi settings of the MR1100, if I make any changes, the Apply button is grayed-out. I was able to make some changes from the main screen but I want to hide the SSID. I tried two different browsers. 

-I want to turn off the screen that exposes my WiFi password but this is also on the same page with the grey-out Apply button. This is a huge security risk!

Not off to a good start and I can't see why this glaring issues exist. Maybe not too many people own/use these things?
