MR1100 performance great outside
Hello- while on the roof yesterday installing a new Wilson yagi antenna, I pointed the antenna to a tower and attached the coax cable and the mr1100 router. I tested the speed well over a dozen times ...

Hello, and thank you for responding. The power is the same USB-C cable that came with the router. It is no longer than about 12 inches.
Yes, while I was on the roof I connected the antenna to the 40 feet of cable and then to the router. I was seeing about 40+ MB speeds while on the roof. This is the same cable that I ran down through the attic and into the closet.
If I unplug the antenna while the router is in the closet I do see the connection drop so that does tell me that it is using the antenna. It just doesn't make sense why while I was on the roof I was getting nearly 40-45 mb speeds and now in the closet I am seeing much less than that. Is it possible that I should get another antenna and point it to another tower? I have another tower that is about 3 miles away. The antenna that I am now connected to is about 1.5 miles away.

I would recomend upgrading the power supply ( im using a samsung 25watt usb c wall plug), using a shorter coax cable, longer ethernet cable and turning off wifi. then one by one, swap the cables (long coax short ethernet) and turn on wifi till you find your bottle neck
