MR1100 randomly shutsdown

I have an MR1100 hotspot that tried to do an update earlier in the week which it froze on. I did a factory reset on it and it does power up and work. But will randomly shut off then maybe power back up on its own or maybe not ( at which time the amber light is dim and flashing rapidly) in which case it will have to be removed from power and plugged back in. The power button has not been working for a while.

I have the MR1100 running with out a battery using a larger power supply with ethernet standby disabled and the USB port charge only.

I have checked for updates and it indicates the MR1100 is up to date.
