MR1100 says connected but NO internet
Please help me figure this out. I have a MR1100 hotspot, using an AT&T sim card with grandfathered Unlimited plan on a PRE paid plan. I have used this for over 2 years but on thursday it stopped work...
It could be related to your AT&T plan. Please contact AT&T to see what has been changed on your plan. Seems AT&T is phasing out 3G service. I am not sure whether this is related to that.

ATT still has 5g and the MR1100 was working fine on that before.
I tried soft power cycle, hard reset and now trying to edit the APN manually but cant find an answer on whats most likely settings...
Other router forums redirect me here...

The MR1100 was previously branded on ATT and only one generation older than the MR5.
This cant be that hard...

This cant be that hard...Are you using MR1100-100NAS with AT&T SIM card? Or you are using AT&T branded MR1100?
For AT&T APN setting, please use broadband.

My MR1100 is the US non locked version.
The APN edit field did not autopopulate in the Netgear Mobile app, and so I was unsure how to edit it manually, especially without (apparently) a cellular connection to the cell network.
I've read elsewhere that manual edit is not recommended.Usually, AT&T APN should be automatically populated for commonly used SIM AT&T SIM cards. Maybe your is newer SIM card and the info was not included in our APN database.
Could you lease provide the ICCID number printed on your SIM card starting with 89. Please provide the first 8 digits. Thanks.
It is safe you manully enter APN if you know what needs to be set. AT&T should provide these information with the SIM card.
