Looks like your device is on v12.06.11.00 already, which is the same version as the current netgear download for that model, therefore it can not upgrade because the firmware versions are the same. This is an older hotspot model and I can only assume the firmware support for this product has ended, unless there is some vulnerability that might come up, I doubt there will be more FW updates that will be provided for this model.
Have you tried factory resetting the device and start the setup fresh? If you're saying it was a company device, there might some settings there that is causing your issues. I would factory reset it and set it up again and see if that fixes your problem
