MR1100

On the LCD screen of the Nighthawk M1 Show 4G but am surprised its not showing 4G+ Has anyone ever seen 4G+ on their MR1100?

     Hi Teewee4134

     

    If you are using the Telstra MR1100 then you will never see 4G+ RAT icon as this was never implemented on this SKU.  The only way you can determine your device is doing carrier aggregation is if you are seeing over 150Mbps on the downlink.

Please apply some network traffic (speedtest or file download) and check the RAT symbol again.

    I have apply network traffic but no changes still just 4G

      RAT means Radio Access Technology, Symbols like 4G, 4G+ are RAT symbols indicating network technology used.. It may be possible that basestation could have some configuration issue which prevents CA activation, license issue etc. Maybe you have to check this from your local cell operator if you think it is necessary.

        Thanks for the info I now understand what RAT means. I would believe that the base station is working well the reason been I have two devices AirCard 810S it shows (4G+) but the Nighthawk M1 only shows (4G). Both have same local sim
