MR1100

Hello,

I own the Nighthawk MR1100 version (MR1100ABS-2A1NAS) it has been working great with and without TS-9 external antennas attached. However today i disconnected my external antennas so that i could bring my MR1100 with me away from home and i noticed the device was not getting any signal. I tried reseting the device via the reset button as well as resetting the device with the web gui and still no luck. I plugged my external antennas back up and i immediatly regained signal and was connected to LTE. Why is my MR1100 not able to get any signal with the internal antennas? I get great signal at my house so its not that i am to far from a tower. If you have any advice please feel free to share as i am completly baffled by this. Thanks!

    Hi Brian3013

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

Please remove the external antenna and check the signal quality using the Diagnostics screen found under Settings > Nighthawk M1 Status > Diagnostics section using values below as reference:

RSRP – The average power received from a single Reference signal, and Its typical range is around -44dbm (good) to -140dbm(bad).

RSRQ – Indicates quality of the received signal, and its range is typically -19.5dB(bad) to -3dB (good).
