MR1100

It is asking for a local password...I put in the one that was given to me, doesnt work. So, then I tried hitting forgot password and resetting, but still does NOT work...HELP!!

Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

 

Are you trying to connect to the WiFi network and it is asking for the WiFi network password? 

Are you trying to access the MR1100 settings page and it is not accepting the default password? 

The default password is "admin" (https://kb.netgear.com/23379/)

 

To retrieve the WiFi network password: please wired a computer to the MR1100, access MR1100 settings page, go to Settings > Setup > Wireless. 

 

If you are unable to access MR1100 settings page, kindly hold the reset button on the back for at least 10-15 seconds and let it boot all the way up.
