Also, this is the second MR1100ATT that has had this problem. I was not able to get the Ethernet port on the last one to work so AT&T sent a replacement claiming the old one had a bad Ethernet port. The new one does not work either.

Just to clarify, the Ethernet port of the replacement unit never worked.
Do you WiFi connection?
Please provide the device SKU (e.g MR1100-2A1NAS) and firmware version.

The SKU on the replacement is 6421B. The firmware is NTG9X50C_12.05.05.14
The Ethernet port on the original nor the replacement has ever worked. AT&T is sending a third replacement unit.
WiFi connection on the original and replacement works fine.

I just got off the phone with AT&T Tech support. They were unable to offer a solution. Their records indicate mixed results with their customers with some not being able to use the ethernet port and some being able to. They did not know the reason why some worked and others didn't. They also could not explain why my Netgear device from AT&T will not register with Netgear. They suggested contacting Netgear support again.
