Just to clarify, the Ethernet port of the replacement unit never worked.
Do you WiFi connection?
Please provide the device SKU (e.g MR1100-2A1NAS) and firmware version.

The SKU on the replacement is 6421B. The firmware is NTG9X50C_12.05.05.14
The Ethernet port on the original nor the replacement has ever worked. AT&T is sending a third replacement unit.
WiFi connection on the original and replacement works fine.

Community TeamI just got off the phone with AT&T Tech support. They were unable to offer a solution. Their records indicate mixed results with their customers with some not being able to use the ethernet port and some being able to. They did not know the reason why some worked and others didn't. They also could not explain why my Netgear device from AT&T will not register with Netgear. They suggested contacting Netgear support again.

There's a 2 minute timer for ethernet port. We shut Ethernet port down after 2 min if not in use to save battery.
You may need to have the ethernet cable in the device during power up. Otherwise the device powers up, wait for 2 mins then shuts down the ethernet port.
Kindly disable Ethernet standby in the Web UI. Go to Settings > Setup > Mobile Router Setup > Ethernet Standby > select Disabled > Apply
