MR2100 - Wireless access point via ethernet
Hi just wondering if the MR2100 can be used to extend an existing service as a wireless access point from an existing router by ethernet.
Unable to find any options.
Essentially i want to plug an ethernet cable into my device from a network so i can wirelessly connect into it.
Thanks

Page 36 of the User Manual describes Data Offloading, a feature that allows the MR2100 to be connected to a local router and reduce the amount of LTE data used:

Page 38 describes how to Data Offload using a WiFi connection.
It is not clear (to me) if this allows for having no LTE connection at all.
Hello,
It's primarily a mobile hotspot. You can't use it to extend an existing network over Ethernet for Wi-Fi access.
