MR2100 locked to provider. how to unlock
Hi im in Aus and i have a MR2100 locked to Telstra (provider) the contract has been cancelled and i want to use it with my new provider but its locked. how can i get it working?
I have a Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 which I purchased through Telstra a couple of years ago. I now have an unlock code which Telstra have provided so that I can use it with another carrier. However I can not find any instructions on how to apply this unlock code. Can anyone help please.
insert different SIM card, other than Telstra, and login to Web GUI, it will be asking for unlock code
Sorry I'm not sure I understand. By the WebGUI do you mean logging on to the device via WiFi? If so I have done so but there is no prompt for an unlock code.
it can be WiFi, Ethernet or USB, as long as you can login to the device via Web browser.
If you are not getting prompt asking for unlock code, were you able to connect to the Internet via different SIM card?
- have you tested with a new sim?
i originally thought i had to unlock it with telstra and get a pin and they charged me for one but after alot of websearching and help from the forums it turns out it didnt need to be unlocked.
