Take the battery out and power it up via usb c cable and try it then. Yes, when the battery is in then the reboot button is there. When the battery is out and powered strictly by the wall plug in, it is not there.

Ahh interesting. My unit is remote and i rarely have access to it. I just tried the insight program and a little frustrated with that currently. The device was enrolled successfully and it was sending constant notifications about being on and offline, so I deleted from the insight profile since I was just trying it out. Well now its no longer connected to the outside world and non accessible. I'll have to drive 600 miles to do a factory reset it appears... no mention of that happening. ugh

sjbender Hi sjbender, I’m in the same bit as you.
nighthawk m6 being used remotely to monitor cameras and bilge on a boat in QLD while I’m 4000km away in WA. Unit has gone offline and now I search the internet and find this is common.
Do you have any tips to help me stabilise this unit or at least somehow remotely reboot? Was thinking a timer switch to force remove power daily?
also mine is running with battery in, I have a friend going to reboot the unit for me today, and thinking I might ask him to remove battery and run just through acAlso signed up to insight to see if there is any remote access in there
appreciate any advice offered, sorry for hijacking thread, there was no other way to contact

I ended buying the BN-LINK Digital Timer Outlet ($14 off Amz). I programmed it to shut power off for 5 minutes every day to the hotspot. And because the M6 is running in AC mode, it auto boots back up when power is restored. This setup has been working great and no longer have to do anything with the hotspot. Even if power is off for days once the power is restored the M6 will simply boot back up (again only if you run it in AC mode (no battery). Now I no longer need remotely access it to reboot it manually every so often to ensure stability.
