Hey thanks again for sticking with me. Most devices are within 30 feet of the hotspot at any given time. There are a couple further but those particular devices usually don’t give me trouble. When it fails it could be a phone within 15 feet of the hotspot. I don’t think the range is the issue.
When the failure happens, my phone can be connected to the hotspot standing right next to it. If I do a speed test it just fails to connect to a server. The device shows a strong connection to the hotspot, but not the internet.

What bandwidth are you using on 2.4G 20 or 40 MHz
What Bandwidth on 5G 40, 80,MHz?
What ever you are using try a different MHz and make sure your WIFI Range is set to Long.

Sorry, I missed this reply. I don't know the answer to that one. I can't find anything like that in my settings.
Edit: Found that for the first time. Both are set to auto. Wifi range is set to Long.

To add to this after my edit: I'm rural with no close neighbors so I don't think interference is an issue.
