MR6500 unstable WiFi and signal drops

Until att releases the updates they are not available... I would suggest moving hotspot to a better signal and trying to update the firmware then...

JBish, I appreciate your help. (1) If you search this community for this issue you will see many posts requesting a json config file so Netgear can provide the right update file. (2) I have the external antenna and getting excellent signal strength.

the hotspot is 24/7 powered?
Do you have the battery removed?
Have you set the wifi to high powered mode?
Tried setting it up as passthrough and connect a dedicated router to it?

- JBishSep 03, 2024AspirantWhat that means usually is they look at logs to try to determine what is causing it and if it's firmware related, it will be fixed in an ota, not that you will get a file to flash.
