Netgear Aircard 781S (AT&T UNITE PRO) firmware

Question

Hello!Please help, because there is a lot of people in my same situation:I have an Aircard 781S.The firmware is an old one (which update while I was on AT&amp;T) and it does not autoupdate (OTA)I read there are TWO new firmware versions for this and I need them because it is very buggy and almost unuseable (it locks, it reboots, etc).Don't tell me that is AT&amp;T managing the support because THEY DON'T.Can someone from netgear just search on old sierrawireles/netgear archives and see if they can find a STANDALONE firmware update utility like the one for 782S???&nbsp;I just wish to update it to a working stable version. And not by OTA.Please help!&nbsp;

Obviously YES. There is not. There is for 782S but not for 781S

AT&amp;T manages and publishes the firmware for both the Unite Pro and Unite Explore.&nbsp; You must be on AT&amp;T to receive the updates.

My Aircard has been factory unlocked and I am not in U.S. anymore. It's AT&amp;T duty to make the firmware update available even if I am not on AT&amp;T network. And all is needed is the "classic" sierrawireless/netgear firmware update program for windows (or linux).I bought the device and it's not at&amp;t property. They can't do as they want. And the MUST (or you) provide a way to upgrade it.

AT&amp;T doesn't have to do anything for your device.&nbsp; It's not on their network anymore, it's also probably out of warranty.&nbsp; There's no written responsibility assumed that they would service the device off of their network.&nbsp; I'm sure there are tools to reflash the device, but they aren't going to give it to you.&nbsp; I've been down this path with my own issues on the Unite Explore.
