NETGEAR AirCard Signal Boosting Cradle with Ethernet - DC113A
I'm using an AC779S-Sprint Aircard with Boost Mobil as my provider I would like to get a better signal inside my home. From another discusion it appears that the DC114A signal boosting cradle is no longer available are there any remote anntennas that could be connected to the aircard to improve reception?

Hello kc8ste
There is other third party antennas available but Netgear does not support these or take responsibility for them but when I searched amazon I was able to find a Boosting cradle available.

Unfortunately every one that i check lists them as out of stock and don't when they'll get them again. Any particular antenna that folks seem to have the best luck with.
Thanks,
Curt
Unfortunately, Netgear, in their "infinite wisdom", has chosen to discontinue the DC113A as "an old product" only 1 year after it was officially announced to the public, and less than 1 year after it actually went on sale. And they did this WITHOUT having a replacement product available, and with no plans to release a replacement product. In My Not So Humble Opinion, it was absolutely inexcusable for them to do so. :smileymad:
Luckily for you, since you're on Sprint with a Series 77XS device, you can order the DC110A Signal Boosting Cradle (if it's still available and you can find one, that is.) It's internally the same as the DC113A with the same features, but it supports a smaller range of Air Cards because it's custom-fitted to the smaller size of the 77XS Series devices that Sprint and some other carriers use. So, those are the only models that work with it.
Good luck with your search.
