Netgear LM200 LTE Modem is using share data

Hello,

I'm from Panama and I'm using a TIGO SIM card with an unlimited data plan. The issue is that the modem is only using the 500 MB available for tethering, and after that, I lose the connection. I need the modem to use the unlimited data from the main plan, not the tethered data. Is there something I can do to have the SIM card use the main data as if I were using it in a phone?

  • You might need to contact the ISP that manages the sim to see if there's a different apn that you should use or if they have to change something on their end.

You are constrained by the limits of your data plan. You should ask TIGO and see if they have plans the allows for unlimited hotspot data. There is no setting in the device that you can set that will allow you to use unlimited data as if you were using it in a phone.

Ok, thanks for the input, at least in my country there are no plans like that, I guess I will have to look for other options.
