Netgear M1 + Google Wifi - Slow download speeds

I am seeing very slow speeds with Google Wifi connected to the M1.  

 

SpeedTest direct on M1: ~60Mbps down, 24 up

SpeedTest on Google Wifi - hardwired (ethernet) to M1: 6Mbps down, 24 up

Google Wifi Network Test: 6Mbps down, 24 up

 

For some reason, download speeds on Google Wifi that is connected to Netgear M1 via ethernet cable are 1/10 the speed of direct wifi connection to the M1.  I have tried multiple ethernet cables.  I have tried IP passthrough on the M1, and also with IP passthrough disabled.  I have tried using the Google Wifi for DHCP, and I have tried M1 for DHCP.  All have the same results.  

 

Does anyone have a possible resoltion to this??

    hey, did you ever resolve this? i was thinking of having the exact same set up in a rural location and was looking for other people's results.
