Netgear M6 | Simple 4G/5G Cell signal display for the front page and dashboard

Please can we have a simple 4G/5G LTE signal display for the device's home screen (before "swipe up") and for the web interface dashboard? It should just be a display of signal bars, like a phone and then an indication of service type, 3G, 4G, 4G+ 5G etc.

 

The data usage area before "swipe up" is less useful to users on either unlimited data or PayG data as the criteria. Perhaps if there was a way to read data usage directly from the network provider, but I don't think that a common functionality framework for this is currently available.

 

I'd rather see cell signal status personally, but perhaps it could be customisable to show other things.

    Signal bars and RAT icons can be seen on the top left corner even when the device is locked.

     

    Reading data usage directly from carriers requires special carrier supports. Making lock screen customizable is a good suggestion. We will check.
