NETGEAR MR5100 MX5 mobile currently locked to Telstra

If I pay to unlock this device (currently locked to Telstra) using someone like Cellcorner will that mean I can use it internationally?  Initially will want to use with AT&T.  Cellcorner have an option to change Frequency Bands.
