have you checked if APN settings done correctly for the SIM card you are trying?

Yes, I've uses the sim cards in other devices and used the same APN.
I have this problem on 3 Night hawk m5s. None of these devices can find any network in a manual search. First I thought the antenna might be broken but this would be strange if it happens to all 3 at the same time. After some digging on the internet, I found this might be a firmware issue. So I would like to upgrade or downgrade manually to try and fix the problem. Do you know how to go about this. I cant find any firmware online.

This is 100% a firmware issue, either modem wise or device wise. My m5 was working with the 3 big networks in the US, ATT verizon and t-mobile until it updated and now it's doing nothing but showing 000-00 and mobile network disconnected. It also shows 100EUS on it though it's a 100NAS model. The lack of providing any easy way to update this brick is testing my patience.

I agree. The fact I'm experiencing this problem on multiple Night hawk M5, says enough. The interface lets me pick my own firmware to update. But there is no firmware to be found online..

there is one problem might be worthy to investigate further, when I was using MR6110-1A1NAS (US AT&T model, unlocked) at foreign country, it refused to have mobile connection regardless what kind of reset is done.
It works till its IMEI been repaired to the one belongs to a phone, then it connects without problem. It might be caused by local carrier is refusing foreign hotspot device get connected, FYI.

I have MR5200-100EUS with the FW NTGX55_12.04.12.00 and it is working properly, except WAN connection would be dropped sometime due to DNS issue (long lasting issue). if your 100NAS is come with 100EUS FW, definitely something wrong with original manufacturing process as not likely people can force upgrade for the device due to no FW file been released.

Have you tried factory resetting the device?
Can you still access M5s configuration page?
What is the firmware version?
Kindly post a screenshot of the M5's About Screen.

I've been able to factory reset the device however it still has issues with not being able to connect. My model is a MR5200-100NAS. I can still access the admin page as well and have posted the screenshot below. I am on firmware NTGX55_12.04.12.00
