NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G Router MR5200 extension arials / antennas
Hi Group
I have a NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G Router MR5200 and wanted to boost the signal if i can as somtimes when i am on the internet it seems slow and when using a VOIP phone it somtimes drops the signal so i miss parts of the conversation etc...
it is installed and used mainly in an office on a desk approximartly 3 mtrs from an out side wall and the geografic area has excelent 5g covereage.
The router has two TS9 Arial / antenna outlet ports so I purchased two extension arials from amazon:
"Bingfu 4G LTE 7dBi Magnetic Base TS9 Antenna 2-Pack for MiFi Hotspot Router USB Modem Netgear LB2120 Nighthawk M1 MR1100 M2 MR2100 AC785 AC797 AC790 AC810 Huawei E5577 E5573 E5785 E8372 E3372"
However i am unsure if they are actually doing anything??
Is there any way to check or measure the reception before and after plugging them in?
I would like to know they are actually working and a benifit if it can.
I look forward to any assitance or advice
regards A
